Founded in 1969, the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is a scientific and technical conference for industry professionals in the fields of drilling, exploration, production and environmental protection. Each year, the conference attracts more than 65,000 attendees and 2,000 exhibiting companies representing more than 120 countries. It is the place that the oil and gas industry comes to introduce new technology. Those attending include geoscientists and engineers, managers and executives, professors and university students, consultants and purchasing agents.
